Hey Star Wars fans!!! Welcome to part two of our Last Jedi prep. Anticipation builds as we get closer to getting answers we have been craving for since TFA. Interestingly, The Last Jedi will pick up immediately where Force Awakens left off. So to get us ready for the next chapter of our heroes adventure, Let's recap how we met them, where they were at the end of 7, and where we could potentially find them in Episode 8.
Alone, resourceful, and clinging to hope to reconnect with her past, Rey is someone who lives her life waiting for the chance to find her place in the galaxy. After meeting and rescuing lost droid BB-8, she soon finds herself thrust into an adventure that could change the galaxy forever.
Linking up with the legendary Han Solo, Rey, BB-8, and former stormtrooper Finn see to return BB-8 to the resistance in hopes of finding Luke Skywalker.
But after stopping by the castle of Maz Kanata, Rey is called inside an isolated storage closet that holds the lightsaber of Luke Skywalker.
Upon touching it, Rey witnesses visions and imagery that she's not familiar with as her true destiny begins to take form.
Initially refusing the path that has now been laid out for her, Rey flees into the forest before being captured by Kylo Ren and taken to Starkiller base.
After a daring escape, Rey engages in a lightsaber duel with Kylo Ren before barely escaping and leaving Kylo Ren wounded.
Now tasked with seeking out the reclusive Skywalker, Rey takes it upon herself to return the weapon to Luke himself and convince him to rejoin the fight for the Galaxy.

| Rey is eager to do what is required to help her friends in the resistance. Her journey and tribulations with Luke will no question push her to her limits and show how far she is willing to go to protect what she holds most dear. |
Despite being one of the most gifted troopers in the first order, FN-2187 AKA Finn changed his mindset upon learning the true ruthless tactics of the regime he now served.
Desperate to flee the order, he enlist the help of resistance pilot Poe Dameron in an attempt to flee the first order.
However, Finn & Poe were shot down and crash landed on the desert planet Jakku. Without any contact with his former regime or his new-found friend, Finn stumbles into Niima Outpost where he encounters scavenger Rey and droid BB-8, who just so happens to belong to Poe Dameron, and helps them to flee the First Order inside the legendary Millennium Falcon.
Despite his acts of bravery, Finn was desperate to start a new life as far away from his past as possible. After pleading with Rey to come with him, he finally turned his back on the fight and made his way to the ship that would take him to the outer reaches of the of the Galaxy.
But after witnessing the destruction of the Republic, Finn rejoins the fight alongside Han Solo Chewbacca marking the first time the former Stormtrooper took arms against his old teammates.
After witnessing Rey being captured by Kylo Ren and reuniting with Poe Dameron, Finn desperately pleaded with the resistance to help rescue her in addition to offering assistance on how to take down Starkiller base.
After a successful rescue, Finn and Rey flee into the forest where they were intercepted by Kylo Ren. After Rey was knocked unconscious, Finn picked up Luke Skywalker's lightsaber and fought Kylo in an attempt to protect his fallen friend.
Tragically, this encounter with the Sith Lord ended badly as he was mortally wounded and left unconscious in the cold snow.
Severely injured and in a coma, Finn currently rest at the resistance base on D'Qar receiving recovery from his newfound allies.

| Still in recovery from his fight on Starkiller Base, Finn is now faced with a monumental choice: Fight for the Resistance or Keep running from the First Order. |
Ace Pilot Poe Dameron is one of the most skilled members of General Leia's Resistance. After linking up with Lorr San Tekka about the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker, Poe and the villagers are ambushed by Kylo Ren and the First Order. Poe was captured and taken into custody and tortured for information.
Luckily, Poe's imprisonment didn't last long. With the help of reformed Stormtrooper FN-2187, Poe and his new friend Finn escaped aboard a stolen TIE fighter and made their escape from enemy forces. The duo unfortunately faced a minor setback when they were shot down and crash landed on the desert planet of Jakku.
Thought to have been dead by Finn, Poe Dameron miraculously survived the crash and came to the assistance of Finn, Han Solo and Chewbacca during an attack by the first order on Maz Kanata's Castle.
After formulating a plan to take down Starkiller base, Poe led his X-Wing Squadron in an intense aerial incursion that resulted in the successful destruction of the First Order superweapon.
Upon returning to the base, Poe and the rest of the resistance saw Rey off as she went in search for Luke Skywalker. With the first order still reeling from the destruction of Starkiller base pulling the resistance a weight as a formula to plan to counter the inevitable retaliation that is sure to come.

| Even though Starkiller Base is gone, retaliation from the First Order is all but certain. Poe and his squad mates must now buckle down to ensure their survival and freedom of the galaxy. |
After losing his Jedi Academy at the hands of a rogue apprentice, Luke Skywalker exiled himself on the planet Ahch-To. He is soon found by Rey and is presented with his old family lightsaber. Luke is now faced with the choice of remaining out of the fight or offering a helping hand.

| Now thrust back into the fight, Luke Skywalker finds himself taking on the role of teacher for the scavenger Rey. However, her incredible power may very well put the once famed Jedi on edge. |
General Leia Oriana has had a tall task with not only leading the Resistance but also searching for her brother Luke. Leia has always been headstrong and capable, but the growing threat of the First Order is proving more dangerous and challenging than anticipated.

| The fight against the First Order is at a fever pitch. Without the Republic fleet to back them up, Leia must now keep the Resistance together during this dark time of conflict. |
