Maleficent (Walt
Disney Pictures, May 30th)
Angelina Jolie transforms herself into one of the most fearsome villains in Disney History |
One of
the all-time Disney classics Sleeping Beauty has been watched by generations of
moviegoers for years. But what seems to be just as memorable as the story, is
the presence of antagonist Maleficent. However, if you have just seen the 1959
classic, you may not be looking at the full picture. Disney is fixing that by
offering fans a re-imagining of the story by telling it from Maleficent’s point
of view. Headlined by Academy Award nominee Angelina Jolie, the film offers a
new perspective on one of Disney’s beloved films and gives fans a deeper more
in depth look at one of the greatest Disney villains of all time.
