Hey followers. I have to say that the summer movie season is cruising by and it has been explosive to say the least. Entering month 3 promises a lot of incredible films set to light up the screen over the next few weeks. Let's break them all down in our packed July preview. 



The First Purge (Universal Pictures/Blumhouse, July 4th)


A Nation Reborn 

A night where crime is legal for 12 hours? Who though this would be a good idea? The latest installment of the horror thriller franchise takes us back to the day that changed the nation forever and set the country on a massive path of murder, crime, and government bloodlust. Experience a nation reborn when The First Purge begins on July 4th.

Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp (Marvel Studios, July 6th)

It Takes Two

Scott Lang finds himself in a bind. After his involvement in the battle in Germany, Lang's world spirals out of control as his friends and loved ones deal with the fallout of his actions. But when a powerful enemy rises to bring chaos to the world, Scott and Hope team up to be the unlikely duo that can save the world at large. The latest addition to the MCU sees Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangilne Lilly, and Michael Peña return alongside Michelle Phifer, Laurence Fishburne, and Hannah John Kamen in the second adventure small in size but big in everything else. Get ready for the next big thing when AntMan and the Wasp hits theaters July 6th.

Skyscraper (Universal Pictures, July 13th)


SkyHard 

Nothing says summer like a tall buildings, armed thugs, explosions, and the biggest movie star on the planet. Dwyane Johnson defies logic yet again in an action thriller that might be as big as himself. Witness action at its highest peak when Skyscraper reaches theaters on July 13th.

The Equalizer II (Columbia Pictures, July 20th)

Equal Pain

There are two sides to every person. There's the good semeritan who's always there to help. Then there's the stone cold and relentless assassin who kills and does it with perscion, style, and under 19 seconds. If anyone fits that bill it's Robert McCall. After his closest friend is murdered in a presumed inside job, McCall goes on a one man killing spree to find the ones responsible. Denzel Washington reteams with Antoine Fouqa for another high octane action thriller featuring one of Hollywood's best performers. Watch Denzel heat up the screen when The Equalizer 2 arrives on July 20th.

Mission Impossible Fallout (Paramount Pictures /Bad Robot, July 27th)

Hunt the Hunted  

Ethan Hunt has done death defying missions his whole life. But this one may be his most challenging. Faced with a potential threat from the inside, Ethan and his team face a challenge greater than any they've faced before and the end result could change everything. The latest installment of the Mission Impossible franchise sees Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and Henry Cavill in a high stakes action extravaganza set to rattle viewers in all the right ways. Witness the everything come to a head when Mission Impossible Fallout hits cinemas July 27th.
